CLIENT:
New Vision Middle School (NVMS) is part of REAL Journey Academies, a non-profit charter school management organization established to increase graduation rates and college entrance for students in the Inland Empire. The school offers a high-quality public education, and individualized programs, and the benefits of a small learning environment with rigorous academic standards.
PROBLEM:
The limited funds that are available to charters are not disbursed in time to open doors. When California delayed state aid until October, the school was in desperate need of start-up capital to bridge the gap.
SOLUTION:
Charter School Capital provided a $565,000 commitment for initial operations and state deferrals.
